My Biography

The daughter of Korean parents, Winnie Wen is becoming one of the most promising artists of our time, with her contemporary interpretations of classics from the likes of Liszt, Chopin and Debussy, alongside with more modern works.

Her musical upbringing began at the young age of four. That in itself is no wonder, as she was raised within a very musical family. Her mother, a professional piano instructor, saw Winnie’s natural attraction to the piano, and soon helped her daughter develop her talent, all the while encouraging her passion.

At just five years of age, Winnie held her first official concert. By age eight, she already began studies with Aiping Kim at the Conservatory of Music in China. Winnie Wen gained numerous accolades and awards including the first prize winner of the Young Talent International Competition in China, Fine Arts Award of Beijing. Winnie took several Master Classes from world famous pianists such as Professors Martha Agerich, Fou Ts’ong and Thomas Duis.
